Iphone/IOS tips and tricks | hidden features you probably didn't know existed.
You own an Iphone and you love how well IOS is optimized then you will surely love these tips and tricks which will make your IOS experience much more better.
BACK TAP FEATURE:
You can set up a back tap feature on your Iphone which will trigger a response when you tap on the back of your phone. There is a long list of functions you can enable with the back tap feature, I have enabled screenshot and when I double tap on the back of my phone, it takes a screenshot similarly when I triple tap on the back, it opens the control center. To activate this feature go to setting, then accessibility, then touch and then back tap.
GUIDED ACCESS FEATURE:
It is a very useful feature which lets you keep for phone in a single app and allows you to control which features are available. What it basically does is when you give your phone to someone to show them something and you don't want them to take control of your phone, you can restrict them on to that one app and disable other features by encircling those features in start screen. To enable this feature go to setting, then accessibility, then guided access and to turn it on quickly press the side button thrice.
SPOTLIGHT SEARCH
You can slide down from the home screen to bring up spotlight search which you can use to search apps, messages, contacts etc. You can also perform basic calculations here without opening the calculator app.When you slide down on slider bar, it bring the screen down which makes it easy to reach for the corners with just one hand.
SCROLLING:
You can tap and hold on the scroll bar to quickly navigate up and down on a long page, which makes scrolling smooth and easy. To go back to start of the screen, just tap at the top of the screen and it will take you there quickly which scrolling all the way to top.
SCREENSHOT:
When you take a screenshot, its small instance is shown at the bottom of your screen and you can directly share the screenshot by long pressing that instance without the need to save it first and without going into your gallery. You can also markup or delete your screenshot if necessary directly from the instance itself.
SAFARI:
To quickly see history in safari just press and hold the back button and it will show you all the different pages you visited and you can click on any of them to directly go to that page. To check the history of recently closed tabs press and hold the plus icon and it will show you the list of all the tabs. You can also search for a specific tab amongst many open tabs via the search bar provided at the top of tabs page.
SPEAKER:
To make your phone speakers significantly louder go into your setting then music and in there set the EQ mode to LATE NIGHT. Try it for yourself to notice a significant difference before and after this setting.
ORGANIZING HOMEPAGE:
When you have to move multiple apps while organizing your home page what you can do is go into jiggle mode, keep holding that app icon and now tap on other app icons which you want to move to club them with app icon you are already holding to move them all at once.
NOTES:
If you have some sensitive information in one of your notes that you don't want others to see, you can lock that note via touch id, face id or pass-code by going into notes setting also from settings you can pin a note so that it always appears at the top of your notes list.
SCAN DOCUMENTS:
You can scan important documents and save them directly from your notes app. You can also save multiple documents in one note as well as resize and recolor the documents as per your need. Tap on a note in edit mode then press the camera icon and click on scan documents button.
